Hotels in Manizales

There is a good range of hostels and hotels in Manizales many of which are located in and around the Zona Rosa in the east of the city.

Due to the hilly nature of the city many hotels offer spectacular views over Manizales and the surrounding region.

Selected Hostels

Green Lake Hostel

For a comfortable friendly hostel try Green Lake. It is a few minutes away from the Zona Rosa, so perfect if you're looking to sample some of the nightlife. The stadium is also nearby, so perfect for catching a game before heading out for some beers!

I found the staff here to be very helpful when I was planning excursions to the surrounding area. They also provide a decent free breakfast.

Hostal La Gran Via

If you prefer something a little more central, a good option is Hostal La Gran Via.

The rooms are really comfortable and the staff there are friendly and helpful. The dorm rooms even come with Cable TV. There is a good common room with TV, perfect for meeting fellow travellers, and a decent kitchen.
